Alexa Raudales, PhD
Postdoctoral Clinician
Alexa received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Rhode Island and completed her clinical residency at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She applies evidence-based strategies to empower clients to build lives aligned with their goals and values. Her approach is collaborative and compassionate, centering clients’ identities, backgrounds, and strengths.
Alexa specializes in supporting individuals struggling with trauma and posttraumatic stress symptoms, depression, anxiety, substance use, emotion dysregulation, and interpersonal difficulties. She draws from therapies that research has shown to be effective, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and “third-wave” approaches such as dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). Alexa is committed to providing care that is affirming, culturally responsive, and grounded in each person’s experiences. She offers therapy in Spanish.
Alexa received her B.A. in Psychology and Biology from Case Western Reserve University in 2017. She received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Rhode Island in 2025 and completed her predoctoral internship at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Currently, she is working towards completing requirements for licensure and is receiving clinical supervision from Dr. Daniel Delaney.
Outside of work, Alexa enjoys hiking, playing guitar, and exploring coffee shops. She values her time with family and friends.
